    Bath tub
I need to know for the underground inspection, what all needs to be plumbed for a bath tub? Is it just the vent to drain pipe with a tub box around it? Does the sanitary tee need to be in place that the p-trap hooks into? Do you have a picture to what is required?

What is required is what your inspector wants. Could be drain and vent or all plumbing. Suggest you talk to them as it varies by location, whether water is in the slab or from the wall. Separate vent may not be required depending on distance to main drain. Too many variables for a concrete answer.

    Hi Skarloc

For an underground inspection of the tub drain you need to have the vent installed so it comes out of the ground and is capped (or connected to the other vents). The tub drain should be boxed out and capped. If a sanitary tee fitting is to be used underground it should be present and the stub out capped. Fill the drain system with water to a 10 foot head if new construction (cap other underground drains) or talk to the inspector if this is a remodel and see how he wants you to test the work.

    Good luck!
