I need a low profile (4" or less in heightt) side discharge shower drain. the discharge needs to be large enough for a 2" pipe. The shower pan is fiberglass.

Drain can be placed anywhere you want it, no particular "side drain" for a shower. Depends on how the P trap is oriented. Maybe use a 2" elbow and then a P trap at a location outside the pan. OR, cut the floor, drop the P Trap into it and then back out.

The PTRAP MUST be located directly under the shower strainer... cannot be located outside the pan area... ;)

Exactly why are you asking for a side discharge shower drain wgrain? Let us know as many details as you can and maybe we can come up with something, but need more info.
