No cold water from cold water tap in bathroom
I had no cold water from the cold water tap in the bathroom and the toilet was not filling up.

I live in a flat, so on one level, therefore we connected a hose to the cold water tap in the kitchen (mains) and fired water back through the cold water tap in the bathroom - this fixed the problem.

We assumed there must've been a blockage or air lock however two weeks later the cold tap has now stopped working and the toilet is slowing down filling up, so I assume will stop altogether again.

    Can you help?

    Thank you.

Remove and clean aerators on faucets and filler for toilet.

I agree with Creahand on the dirt in Fill valve, but disagree with Aerator if dirt is in the Aerator screen both hot and cold will be affected.
Your problem sounds that you have debris in the cold port of the faucet and have debris in the fill valve, for the faucet you need to remove the cartridge and flush out the debris or may need to change the cartridge, on the fill valve see the images below and tell us which one is your we will tell you how to fix your problem, Thanks.
