What to do if you think your mum hates you?
Hi, I'm sure my mum hates me, or is at least sick of me, because she'll ask me to tidy up and stuff like that and if I don't she'll go in a mood with me calling me names, and stuff like that. Then she'll call me disrespectful, and she says she's going to social services or whatever it's called and to put me in a new home that I'll be happy in because she always says I don't love her or care about her an I'll be happy to see her in hospital and things like that. Also she says she wants me to go to my grandmas for 2 week so she has peace and things like that. What do I do? Please help. Xx

It sounds like the solution is to tidy up when she asks you to and to help out around the house (without being asked, willingly and cheerfully! ) as much as you can. Find ways to put a smile on your mum's face.

Why don't you ask your mom why she seems to think you hate her?

I have the same problem.. but you have to go with it.. she is your mother.. think about that and try not to hate her back.. she may have some breakdown or some pressure.. and maybe she is yelling at you because she has no one else to yell at.. no one else to pour out the anger.. so just go with it.. you will understand.. and when ever she yells at you.. NEVER talk back.. that'll destroy everything.. believe me..

Where I live the mothers are very vulgar and nasty to their kids from the time they learn to walk, even before that sometimes. You need to learn to communicate and try to come to an understanding. Remember the best thing if all else fails is vow to yourself to not turn out the same way. Often I think it's that many moms are miserable with their own life and take it out on their kid(s)

And sometimes parents parrot how they were parented, not knowing anything different or better.

Screaming mothers are usually raised by screaming mothers.
