I shot heroin into my forearm last night and nothing seemed unusual, until I pulled out. A fiery sensation ran through my fingertips, was extremely painful, and my hand swelled to twice its normal size. It's still swollen today, approximately 16 hours later. I used a brand new syringe, and the heroin was from the same batch I'd been using all week without any problems. Will this go away? What happened? If I go to an ER, what can they do?
