My husband has HB1 visa and me the HB4, this Saturday we are going to pay taxes, but I didn't apply for an ITIN number, I don't know how much time does it take, what can I do??

You need to fill in and submit Form W-7, along with a notarized photocopy of your passport, with the federal form (Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ). Mail all the forms to the address in the W-7 isntructions (in Austin, Texas).

The IRS will issue the ITIN, insert it wheer your SSN should go, process the return, and mail you're your ITIN for use on the state tax return.
