Blocked riser pipe? No hot water in any fixture?

    Hi Avionce

How about providing some information here? How many bathrooms? How many water heating units in the house? Gas or electric system?

Do you have a recirculating pump on the hot water system?

How many bathrooms upstairs? All fixtures an issue upstairs or just a shower or sink?

When did this issue develop... gradually or overnight?

Please, spend some time on your own question and give us any information you think will help, OK?

The problem only pertains to the upstairs bathroom and not the downstairs bathrooms for a total of 2 1/2 baths. It's the tub and sink upstairs, the house was built in 2005 with an electric water heater. This problem has been going on for 3 weeks now.
