    Doors sticking after freshly painting...
After painting doors and trim and allowing to dry for several days before closing, two of our doors are sticking and the paint has pulled off in those spots. Anyone have any tips on how to stop this from happening.. Thank you in advance.

Don't know age of doors, but most doors today are square cut. This would make the inside edge susceptible to rubbing when opening door.

There should be about 1/8'' space between jamb and door at striker edge. When installing new would recommend beveling striker edge about 5 degrees.

On existing door, plane edge to have 1/8'' clearance.

I have had latex paint stick when two freshly painted surfaces come together, even after a couple days drying.
Suggest sanding and repainting damaged areas, let dry for as long as possible, then put a thin coat of Vaseline on each surface.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer. The doors are luan (spelling?) and not new. I will sand the high spots on the striker edge and repaint. Thank you!
