Removed pull chain switch and forgot to write down wire position on 4 wire, 3 speed & off. Wire colors are Black, purple, orange & yellow. Please help

Black is hot. Other colors are by switch maker so you have to keep moving them around until you get the speeds correct. Just keep trying combinations.
