Hi. I applied for political asylim in 2005 was denied on interview and was denied after the court. But since 2010 I am holding Green Card through my wife's asylim case. Now my own old asylim case is still open, many attornyes say that I have to re-open the old case and close it. Can you please tell me if it possible to do? What can I do? And if there is any limitation in time to do it? Or should I just wait and apply fot citizenship?

Do you your attorney's recommendation. If your case is still unsolved, when you apply for naturalization, the application will be denied.
