    Painful growth on anus
For several years I've had what I believe to be warts close to my anus and some irritated brown spots close to my vagina. Due to my job, I've been scared to go to an ob-gyn. The last week or so it's been so painful I can barely walk or sit and it's hard to sleep through the pain. I'm at the point of goingto the ER because I know if I make an appointment with an OB-gyn I will chicken out and not go. Plus I don't know if I can handle the pain any longer. If I go to the ER, will they see me and treat me?

Although they could be many things, venereal warts (genital warts) come to mind. They are transmitted sexually. They can spread and even grow up into the rectum, so get them treated. You need to find a clinic that you can pay cash for, if you don't want your employer to know. But you can ask the clinic to change the wording, (IF that's even what they are)!

I see an ointment for sale online called SOMXL. I have no idea if it is effective. I was always told that it requires clinical attention.
