    Is it necessary to have white discharge before period
    My due period date is 26 aug. but I'm having itchy red spots on my body and some times I found white discharge in very small quantity. M I pregnant

    A stringy, glue like whitish or clear discharge is a normal part of the menstrual cycle, appearing at any time but often mid-cycle, when ovulating.
    A lumpy, cottage cheese white or yellowish discharge is usually a yeast infection, also very common, but it needs to be diagnosed and treated with drugs. One such drug is Monistat, available without a prescription.
    Itchy bumps are not related to either one, unless around your pubic area, where they might be a skin allergy to the yeast, but even that is doubtful.
    None of the above indicate pregnancy. That doesn't mean you aren't pregnant, but there is no way to know without a pregnancy test, also available at any drugstore.
