    I have spilled wood stain on my dogs hair , how can it be removed
    Happened easy, was moving furniture a can of wood stain fell, dogs in the way

    Dawn dish soap should take care of the oily residue. I hope you have already tried to clean it off before the dog tried to clean it himself.

    I wouldn't put anything on him that involves chemicals, and harsh cleaners, some dogs are meticulous groomers and will try to remove anything that is not supposed to be there, you don't want him ingesting those things. The Dawn is a much safer way to go.
