Can I recover an .xls file in C that was stored in a drive?
    Hello.

I used to have a 2GB USB flash drive (pen drive) attached to my keychain.
I bought an 8GB drive. And replaced my 2GB with the new one, on my keys.

Then I lost my old drive, and I desperately need some files that were stores there...

I Used file.xls everyday in 2 computers (work and home) and always worked on the Flash Drive... Is there anyway to recover something from C:/win/temp/ or something alike?

    Thanks!

Unless you ever copyed the file onto your computer than no I would have to say its very unlikely but you could aways try a recovery tool like "Recover My Files" you might just get lucky

If the file only existed on the flash drive, then there would be no trace on the hard drive. You should never rely solely on files on a flash drive. You should always synchronize them with a PC.
