What to do if my boyfriend's family member forces us to break up?
Me and my boyfriend was having a very nice relationship but today his aunty called me and shouted at me and asked me to leave him and never talk or meet him. I can't do that. I love him, still I told her I will not cause anymore problem to him. I told my boyfriend about this and he had a fight with his family. He is asking for some time alone, but I'm so worried I don't know what to do. I'm scared that he will leave me. What should I do? Please give suggestions.

If a relationship cannot stand outside pressure, then its not very solid in the first place, and if a partner can be influenced by family to end it then, again, it wasn't that solid, or a top priority for your partner.

I suggest you just give it time so the emotional dust can settle and it can be discussed by cooler, calmer heads and go from there. I suspect you will learn much about your partner and the way he really thinks of this relationship, and his family, so don't be so distracted by your feelings for him that you fail to listen carefully, and pay close attention.

What caused the "Aunty" to place the telephone call? Cultural problems? Something else?

Aunty can't 'force' him to do anything. Usually there's a threat to stop the money flowing. If he does what she wants, your problem is with him, not her.

Oh, I'm sorry - there must be an echo in here.
