I am 40 and have had normal 28 day cycles as long as I can remember. This month my boyfriend and I had sex on 7/8 and 7/9. I was ovulating as shown by opk. This past Monday 7/15 I started spotting. On Tues I spotted off and on passing a few small clots. Wed I had a heavier flow it was dark. Thursday it stopped completely and today I spotted in the morning now its gone. Normally with AF I have horrible cramps and its usually med/heavy along with tons of pms symptoms. Now I'm just tired, bloated, peeing often and breasts are swollen. I've had very few cramps and what I have had feels different like stretching aches. Hard to explain. But there's no more spotting and I still have the aching time to time today. I'm not sure if its my age just bringing on a first of an early period or if I could be pregnant. My period wasn't due until 7/23. Has any one else experienced this confusion? Is it too early to test? I'm just afraid maybe my age is creeping up on me. :-(
