My boyfriend and I have been together over a year. When we met I knew he sometimes smokes weed. I am against weed, however I didn't see our relationship going forth, so it wasn't even a concern as long as it wasn't around me.

Some months go by and we start to get serious. I told him I didn't want him doing it any longer and he agreed. I later on found out he was doing it behind my back the whole time. We have gotten in many fights over it. He has even gone as far to say that he isn't stopping and if I can't accept it then we can break up. He says that he loves me but this ongoing issue has caused me to have bitter feelings towards him. I try ti ignore it but it always comes back. I feel bad he has lied about it before.

I just want to be happy. Any advice?

On a priority list gauge habit is # 1 you are solmewhere down the list. They will SAY they quit or will quit but no they just continue hiding it. Too, think about 'the kids' he might have one day.Most every guy that I knew that smokes weed, their dad had them smoking weed by age 15.

How old are you? How will your future be changed if he's arrested for possession or use and you are with him - or in your car?
