I have full custody of my daughter her father has no rights to her no set visitation I let him see her were I see fit... he only sees her maybe 3 times a year and talks to her to a month... I am living out of state trying to get a stable place to live and a vehicle I gave temporary custody of my daughter toy best friend... I talk to my daughter. Every other day and see her about once a month for 3 to 4days... I want to no if he can file abandonment charges to get her and keep her whole I am out of state... he can't keep a job for more them a couple weeks and is 9000$behind in support and is a drunk... I willingly send 200 or more dallors a month. To help support my daughter for now...

Whatakes you think he would try to get her? You did nit abandon her, you left her in care of someone while you are trying to improve your life. Doesn't sound like he has a chance to get her.

When he gets drunk he threatens keep her and not give her back but when he is sober he says he would never do that

You let him see her when you see fit and he threatens nit to give her back when he is drunk... sounds like he should have supervised visits only.

If you have full custody of your daughter granted by the courts, then he cannot keep her. All you would need to do is show your custody papers and have the police come with you to retrieve her.

He cannot file "abandonment charges" because you did not abandon the child. However, he can move to get custody because you have entrusted care to someone else. Whether the courts would grant him custody is a question. If you can prove his alcohol problems and show his lack of commitment to her, I doubt if they would change custody.
