Sure he can.. if he owns it or he has a lease in his name alone. Then its his and he has the upper hand.

Having children or children in school doesn't change that. You could move anywhere else in the school district without effecting that.

If your name is on the lease or the Deed... then its not so simple.

He does have to evict you properly and legally though. He can't just tell you to get out and you have to leave right away.

Someone that knows the actual law on this will be along soon enough and explain it to you.

I left that part out... he can evict you. But he has to follow the law according to what country and state you live in.
And as odinn7 pointed out... he can't simply out you out tomorrow.

In most of the USA... he's got to give you 30 days notice... in Florida its 15 days... California its 60 days.

He can tell OP to get out, but probably cannot enforce that demand without a court order.

The specific "actual law" will depend to some extend on where (what state or country) this is, but in general, he will have to give you a written notice demanding that you leave within so many days (usually a month). If you haven't gone at the end of that period, he can go to court for an order that you be shown the door.

Make sure if he is the dad go for that support. Also have your stuff set aside ready to go and you can request police to make sure he doesn't try to hold your belongings on the day you leave

As noted, since this is his house he controls who lives there. But that control is subject to local laws.

In any place in the US you are considered a resident and have to be treated like any tenant. That means, while he can force you to move, he has to give you legal notice, and, if you don't vacate, go to court for an eviction order.
