Can someone HELP me write a song?
Well I write songs, literally all the time.
But the only thing I can seem to write is love songs and break up songs and things of that nature.
I'm 13
And well, I'm recording a CD soon.
And I don't want all of the songs to be love songs.
Cause well, honestly I don't want to be classified as another Taylor Swift.
I've been trying to write this song for so long but I'll get a few lines and then it goes downhill after that.
But this is kind of what I want it to be about:
Around 7 months ago I moved into a new house and a new neighborhood.
And every weekend the whole community would get together at the marina, cook out, sing karaoke, and have a good time.
It had became my entire life.
I made so many friends who meant the world to me and met so many good people, who became like family.
I loved being there more than anywhere else.
Then my father built a building for the man who owned everything down there.
And he ended up being a crook.
And owed my dad thousand of dollars.
So the following weekend my dad "quit" the job after he wouldn't pay.
My dad asked him if it was okay if I could still come to the marina.
And the man said "Well with the way things are, she probably shouldn't"
I had already went in and everything.
Then my dad motioned for us to leave.
And my heart broke.
I cried and cried every weekend for a long time.
And I haven't got to go back since.
And I miss it.
I looked forward to it every weekend.
And it wasn't my fault.
And it's just sad.
But this is what I have for the beginning.:
Everything was perfect
Those days were so beautiful.
Everything was amazing
Before I lost it all.
