All of a sudden, when I am searching for someone on FB instead of getting ten people with the same name, they give me one person's FB page. I don't even know the person. I wrote to FB but they said they don't handle individual problems.

I don't understand the problem. The exact person you are seeking might have you blocked, might not be on FB.

This is not the first time you've been blocked and, in fact, it's your third thread on similar problems.

My other concern is that someone was posting using your user name and password. Did you work that out?

Yes, that is a new "feature" of FB search. You're almost better to do a Google search with the name in quotes and add "facebook" as a search term.

OUch... I don't follow... I do look at Google with quotes... but don't know what you mean by fb search term

Hi, that's called Facebook Graph search, it's actually something that I don't seem to love. When you enter a person name, it shows different results with a person's friend list , fotos, and the person profile. If you enter a general term, it shows you groups related to the term, pages related to the term, etc. It partly good yet, but not convinced completely.
