Stalker is sending emails from MY email account
I have a stalker. He is somehow manging to send me emails from MY own email account. I have a hearing for a restraining order coming up in a few weeks. Im sure he is probably sending himself emails from "me". How is he doing this? Is there a way to prove that he is the one sending the emails.

Try changing your password... on your computer and in your email.

    Hacked email
I have a stalker. He has been sending me emails from my own email address. I have a hearing for a restraining order in a few weeks. I imagine he has probably sent himself emails from "me", as well. How could he have accessed my account? Is there a way to prove that I am not sending the emails? How do I stop it. It is Yahoo mail

Have you changed your password and security questions? Most likely he's not sending from your account, but spoofing your e-mail address.

Send yourself an e-mail and look at the headers and compare them to the headers from the mails he sends.

Why are you using two accounts? I've merged the two threads.

Sorry for the 2 threads. I created a new email account. When I registered here, I wasn't sure if I put the correct email. I have changed my password and security questions.I thought that he was probably spoofing my account as well, but I replied to one of the emails that he sent to me that listed me as the sender. I was surprised when the reply turned up in my email. Im wondering if he is actually logging onto my email account somehow. Are you thoroughly confused now? I have tried comparing the headers, but it is all mumbo jumbo to me.

What you are looking for is the IP addresses. But spoofing can make the reply go to you.

I take it, this is someone you know, and it is in real life, also, they are stalking you in real life, not just sending emails ?

Yes it is someone that I know. An ex boyfriend. Yes, he is stalking me in real life. Im not very comfortable discussing the details in a public forum
