Not sure if my b/f is stingy
I've been with my b/f for 5 months now, he comes over spends a night or 2 and has never offered to make breakfast, coffee etc I've been supplying with everything. I order out and I pay he knows I'm not working and living off unemployment and have 2 young children to boot, how do I bring up the topic about perhaps being just a bit generous and contributing towards a jug of coffee or perhaps ordering and paying for dinner when I do order out? Please help. I do love him but if this is what I am to expect then I just don't know.

    Does he work?

You will have to be direct and blunt. Tell him he needs to start paying his way.

Actually, the fact that he is too stupid or doesn't care enough to realize this on his own makes me think he's an idiot and not as great as you think he is.

You tell him he is being more like a 3rd child rather than a helping partner.

I'm going through a divorce and so is he, I also know that he does everything in his home from food shopping, to running errands whenever needed. Etc... He's 50 I'm 43 which I don't think anything wrong with that. My relationship with my husband lasted 19 years and not once do I ever remember paying for anything. Could that be why I'm expecting my b/f to offer and pay fit stuff. I mean on Sundays we take dance class together he got me to join and when we go for lunch afterwards he will pay, however other than that he doesn't ask if I might need him to pick something up for me before coming by at night or on his days off he wants to come over and watch movies all the time. I don't see that he has any interest on going out out for the day, or for the weekend for that matter. I've never been through anything like this so how do I bring it up especially that he seems to take things the wrong way at times?
