Got the implanon birth control a week after unprotected sex could I be pregnant?
My last period started on June 4 and ended about June 10 I had unprotected sex on June 20 in which I was ovulating I got the implanon in my arm a week after so it was June 28 my dr was kind of iffy about doing it because there was no way to know if I was pregnant or not so she did the procedure anyway my dr told me that I would spot after it was put in it might just be a little or it could be a lot but I haven't spotted at all also I have like almost every pregnancy symptom in the book but I know that can sometimes be caused by the birth control I'm just a little nervous and wanted so see if anyone else has had an experience like this

How do you know you was ovulating that week?

You can only know for certain if you were keeping a Basal Temp chart.. or getting tested medically to determine your ovulation date and time... neither of which you would be doing unless you were trying to get pregnant... and you wouldn't be going on birth control if you were...

Since you were trying to get pregnant the week before ( having unprotected sex = trying to get pregnant)... there is a possibility you did.

However we can't determine that online... you have to get tested. And you should.

Yes, you could, since you had sex and it was not protected, ( even protected sex gives a chance.

If you were ovulating, the chance is larger, I do not know why you are tracking ovulation, if you were using those silly online charts, no you did not know, they do not really track

Trust us... unless you were tracking the two ways I mentioned... you are 80% certain to NOT be ovulating on the day you thought. So no... that chart has no idea when you really ovulate.

Women can ovulate on any day of their cycle... while they are more or less consistent around that particular day of their cycle... women as a whole are not consistent on which day of their cycle that accually happens.

So it's a serious misconception to assume you can track it without actual tests.

You might want to talk with the doctor that prescribed that birth control... because there isn't a one size fits all that are good for all women... for example they have had to adjust my wife's every few years as a result of side effects. Usually to formulations that are less strong.
