OK, I want to install a tub/shower combination.

I want:

1. Shower Head
2. Hand Shower
3. Tub Spout
4. Body Spray (2 on same wall as controls).

Moen 3530 - says "not recommended for tub spout applications".

Why? It's in the spec sheet. See page 2 of http://www.moen.com/shared/pdf/instr...ts/INS1162.pdf.

This diagram is essentially what I want, with only one body spray left and right, instead of two as shown.

Comments? Suggestions? Warnings? Advice?

The orifices in the outlets are restricted per low flow requirements.

OK, that makes sense.

Does anybody have a suggested diverter or diverter arrangement to accomplish this?

In order to do what you want, you are going to have to install either another mixing valve that is dedicated to the tub filler -- Or you are going to have to install a volume control between the bottom of the mixing valve and the tub filler and another volume control between the top outlet of the mixing valve and the inlet of the diverter.

Nope.

You would still be running the tub filler through a small ported diverter if you do it that way.

What you really need is a three port diverter to control all of the different shower functions.

I can live with the tub faucet diverter pushing up to the shower, not going to use them at the asme time. 6 function diverter valve. No counter-recommendations on the website... not that I believe all I read on mfg's websites, hence the question on here, where the rubber meets the road.

I've installed the shower only version of that valve a few times and never heard any complaints back about it.

By the way, Delta makes a body spray system that adds four body sprays with an adapter that screws onto the shower arm with a built in diverter.

Thanks, I'm going for the delta one, it has everything I'm looking for, I'll let you know in a couple of weeks after I get the bathroom all torn out and put back in w/ the new tub. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
