Two lumps in the back of sons head
My son came to me about two weeks ago complaining of a painful lump in the base of his head on the right side. I assumed it to be a lymph node and brushed it off. Tonight he has come to me and the lump has multiplied there is now THREE pea sized hard lumps. I am going to take him to his PCP tomorrow but has anyone ever heard of such? The move around a little when you are messing with them.

Why would you brush off a lymph node in any situation, especially when it hurts?
'Base of head' isn't specific enough, plus age, history, condition of teeth, past ear infections, etc.
