Okay so Hi, I am 14 and I've lost my virginity about two months ago. I know its terrible, but I didn't plan it at all. My parents had gone for a day and I had a few friends over. And everyone had left early but this guy who lives close to me so he stayed longer. We sat down talked for a awhile. And we then went upstairs and I told him I didn't want to do it but he kind of seduced me but I admit to saying yes after all the kissing , etc. Don't get me wrong I did you use a condom I'm not an idiot , but we haven't dated, we're not in love, its one of those situations that just happened. Should I tell my parents?

Ok, I only asked to make sure nothing illegal happened other then what has already happened. As far as telling your parents that is something that is going to depend on your relationship you have with them. In some cases you might be able to tell your mom where your dad would blow a gasket. You know your situation best. At a minimum you need to talk to your mom about what happened and also ask her forgiveness for breaking her / your parents trust.

The first rule in doing adult things is to take ownership and responsibility. Also as a dad I have to advise you not to cheapen yourself and continue with this pattern. Please stay safe and wait until such time as your married before doing it again.

What kind of relationship do you have with your parents? I have a 14 year old and a 10 year old, and they know they can tell me anything. I may not always be happy about what they tell me, but as their mom, I need to know what's going on, so I can keep them safe.

I think you should sit down with your parents and let them know what happened. At the very least they shouldn't be leaving a 14 year old child unattended for a few days. They also need to have "the talk" with you, so that you know that condoms are the least reliable form of birth control on the market, and even if you use 3 or more forms of birth control, pregnancy is possible any time you have sex. Nothing prevents pregnancy 100% other than abstinence.

What's done is done, you can't go back and change it. Virginity is a one shot deal. But being more informed, and making better choices in the future, is definitely something you can still do. :)

Im one of those teens who keep everything inside but I have a kind of close relationship with my mom than my dad.

No I don't plan having sex until later in life again its not such an great experience but thank you I really do appreciate your point of view.
