    Marriage & house guest
Is it a good idea for a young married couple to have house guest every weekend including your anniversary weekend for 3 months straight?

It depends on what the couple agrees to and are comfortable with. If one doesn't like it they need to talk to their spouse about it

It doesn't matter what others think. Some people like to entertain a lot. Others like a quiet home life.

You have failed to say too much.

Who is house guest, family member ? Just a friend, and if a friend whose friend.

So they stay during aniversiry, couple can still go out, if they watned to??

    Next why are they staying.

Example, here in China, it is custom for mother of son to often stay at the home, she may come for months at a time.

Or a niece or nephew comes because of family issues.

Also if the guest would be a child from previous marriage, that is not a guest, but a family member.

So not enough info to even guess
