Will 1 sip of alcohol be detectable in an ETG test the following day?
I am a very fit 5'8" tall female, 130 lbs. I had a sip of a shot around 11pm yesterday and have an EtG test today. Will I pass the EtG? I was also eating at the time I took the sip.

I'm guessing this is court-ordered for probation?

Probably you'll pass (a sip less than 24 hours before the test?), but keep in mind that this test is very sensitive and gives also false positives because of hand sanitizer use, mouthwashes and cleaning products containing alcohol, etc. So we honestly can't predict how this will work out for you.

Your best bet is to avoid alcohol in any form as much as you can if you know you will be randomly tested.

ETG tests can detect mouth wash (which you don't swallow) and hand sanitizer (absorbed through your skin), and anything with alcohol in it, so there's a pretty good change it will detect any amount of alcohol, no matter how small, after less than a day.

You may fail this test, but we can only guess.

Are we sharing a brain? I was writing my post while yours posted, so I didn't see it, but we wrote almost the same thing. Scary. ;)
