    Help me identify
What type of bug is this? I found one on the stairwell and another one on the kitchen floor. 6 legs which are black and yellow. Curved antennae. Wings. Ant like but much bigger than a carpenter ant.

The Google picture is of a Tasmanian walking stick, a giant insect thought to be extinct until recently.

NoHelp is probably correct in that what you have are more likely earwigs, which look like this

I got a different picture it was longer and skinnier and it had a thing coming out the front just like an earwig

Walking sticks are classed in the Order Phasmida
Earwigs are classed in the Order Dermaptera
