I've had these dark marks in my neck that seem to be spreading over the years. Usually they show up more and get worse in the warmer months. It started about three years ago and seems to be spreading. I've gone to several dermatologist s but they don't seem to know what it is exactly. Has anyone seen anything like this or know of someone who has had this? Any help would be very much appreciated.

my step uncle has that all over his body too if it is what i think it is. if it is it is a type of deseas and you need to consult a doc about it.

It worries me, if a skin doctor, has no idea ? What tests did the do of the area and skin

I have actually had a biopsy done and they have done skin scrapings as well. They found some type of fungus was involved so they thought it could be tinea versicolor but I tried the selenium sulfide and ketaconazole treatments as well as antifungal pills among other things and nothings seems to work.
