Will I pass an EtG 68 hours after my last drink?
I am a 29 yr old male, I'm 6'1 170lbs. I had 5 12oz beers Saturday and finished my last one at 10:15pm. I took an EtG Monday at 6:30pm. Do you think I will have any problems passing?

Ok.. I misread... the test was today.. you drank on Friday.. the test wasn't going to be on this coming Friday (being its Monday.)

Hard to guess actually... what matters is the actual results... and if you failed you are going to find out.

I find that talking about what MIGHT or might not happen either gives false hope... or unneeded worry... because no matter what is discussed the test results are what they are.

EtGs are notorious for giving false positives. Of course in your case, you DID drink alcohol and the time frame between last drink and the test might be too iffy. Please let us know when you get the results.

And if you are on probation or your job demands random testing, you do realize the only way to avoid this kind of worry after being tested is not to drink in the first place.

I know research is being done to make the test more definitive, to eliminate false positives, and to teach agencies and employers how to use it more effectively.

Thank you for the info. I just read how ineffective they can be. Hopefully I pass and it's not the end of the world if I don't.

With that time frame, you'll probably pass this one.
