Hi, I'm 17. I've been with my girlfriend for about 10 months now and in the last week she's been acting as if she hates me. I can't look at her without her telling me to get lost. She's always on her iPod or a laptop, and she keeps everything secret (which she never used to do). I don't know what I have done to make her like this but it feels as if I'm going to lose her. Help me please.

We don't know her or you... we don't know what you did, if you did anything.

Have you tried talking to her? Sounds to me like she isn't what you thought she is and you would probably be better off without her and the drama she is creating... but I would attempt to calmly talk to her first and take it from there.

She says get lost -- do it for your own sanity.

So why do you put up with that? You can do better... being alone would be better than having someone that treats you this way. Break up with her, move on, and find someone that treats you right.

Do as she say my friend. Get lost and let her find you, if he want too. If not then you didn't have her in the first place.

You don't have to do anything wrong to get dumped anyway.

Maybe, just maybe ,someone told her something about you that she believes is true, Until she fesses up you will never know. Until then, do your own thing.

She is most likely having an affair. Your probably a great guy. Find someone who will treat you right

12 isn't even considered a "teen" year by the way.

I think that maybe it's time for you to give her some space. If she asked you to leave her alone, then maybe that is what you should do. If you constantly hound her about what's wrong, it might come off as nagging and could result in a bigger fight or break up.

Sometimes, giving space is a blessing. It gives her time to deal with whatever issues she has and it also gives you time to contemplate the situation and relationship you are in.

In the end, I hope that everything will work out for you.

Give her space - it's really the only thing you can do. It is very immature of her to refuse to speak about what is wrong even if you two are very young. If she is interested in reconnecting, trust me, she will and you can take it from there. Right now I would stay away though. Having her continuously shut you out is only going to hurt you more and I'm sure there are many people who would love to have your company, like friends and family.

She sounds rather rude and self indulging. Give her what she wants, leave her alone. Why put up with that kind of treatment from someone.
