    Child support
When moving from Ohio to Florida we had to go to court to get permission to move. I'm the custodial parent. In order to get the other parent to agree to the move I had to agree to lower child support more then half. Which I agreed to as long as the other party paid and sent for kids during court ordered times.(summer break, xmas break) They have failed to do so or even contact the children for over a year. So is this contempt for not following court order? Can I file for the support to be put back to original? Do I need to hire a lawyer and can I move this to Florida instead of Ohio?

Was the agreement approved by the courts? If it was just a side deal between the two of you then go back to court if they aren't holding up their end.

If he still lives in OH, its unlikely you can get it moved. What have you done to collect on the support?

The courts approved this deal as long as they paid for all cost of travel.

Was wondering if it was worth asking for a recheck of the situation.

I don't think you will get a change in support, especially if you haven't tried to enforce what has been ordered.
