Loud noise at kitchen faucet when using hot and cold
I had to have my kitchen faucet replaced once before ,the noise stopped for awhile and now it is back again. Had my water softner repaired outside and now the noise coming out of kitchen faucet is worse . It's a loud deep noise is all I can describe about it.It does not matter if I use hot or cold or both together,it still does it. The water pressure is sort of weak at times too with the noise only at kitchen faucet. The only time the noise stops and the pressure is good is when I use the spray nozzle. Plumber put in a higher quality faucet last time to see if that would work.Howerver it helped stopped the noise and pressure was good for awhile but has not really corrected the problem.Thank you for any information anyone may have on this.

Have you unscrewed the aerator from the spout and checked the screens? Describe the sound in more detail. Big bang? Slow deep vibration? Squeal? Have you bypassed the softener to see if that helped? Have you tried cutting down on the hot and cold angle stops? Talk to us. Regards, Tom
