Bought a new battery about 6 months ago now the battery is dead I have to jump it to drive it. Took pos cable off battery while running and engine stays running .its not charging,can't locate the voltage regulator under hood to replace. Any input would help a lot... Thanks

It's on the back of the alternator. Easy access--only 2 Torx T20 screws to remove.
