First, how do you know you have fluid in your ear?

If you have an ear infection with fluid present behind tge ear drum, it will hurt and you will feel pressure. Often it will cause a fever.

If you have water in your ears from swimming, you will feel it drop from your ears.

If you are concerned about infection, go to the doctor.
