    You should unplug unit and pull out from the wall. The front kick plate on most units just pulls off, or may have a screw on each side. To get to the back you remove the rear cover by removing the screws. Vacuum out the air vent holes on it. Then spray down the coils and fan blades with a good spray cleaner that will cut grease. Wash off everything with a sprayer on a water hose and vacuum up with a wet-vac. Then you should try to clean the inside coils by removing cover to freezer coils and washing out the drain pan with water while clearing drain line. This is the type of refrigerator that will not run without the rear cover in place and securely screwed down because the fan will not route air through the coils unless the cover is on.
