    My kitten is dying
My kitten lily was healthy as a horse this morning playing around and all then she got under the couch and ever since I got her out I found her whole body slump and irresponsive... she was trying to meaw but no sound came out and she can't move anything like even her neck if you don't hold it it would just hang like that... I ran with her to the vet who told me that her body temprature is very low and her circulatory system is down... she gave her some injections and tried to hang a canula but couldn't find any veins so she just gave her the glucose with a shot under the skin... she told me to keep her warm and give her 30 cm glucose every 6 hrs... and for five hours now she's just been laying there in my arms dying... I am devastated I just lost my mother to cancer and watched her die to... I bought this kitten to find some comfort... I don't know what to do if there's anyone who might know how to help her... I beg u... I can't take this

Did the vet tell you what is wrong? Have you called other vets? It seems this vet did not take much interest.

Put surp in her mouth rub her neck while holding her head up so she won't choke and wait ten minutes she if she's responsive!

Jasmina, you may have missed the part of lilymykitten's post where the kitten is already being given glucose under vet's orders.

lilymykitten, have looked under the couch to see if she could have gotten into anything that may have poisoned or shocked her? Did the vet run any tests?

I truly hope your kitten is doing better it's very disheartening when something like this happens.
First I would ask if the vet did a glucose check, to see if hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) was part of the problem. Any other testing done?
Secondly what did the vet give her and what did she send you home with to give her?
Subcu fluids are a good thing but, glucose or dextrose should not be given under the skin, it has the potential to cause infection and abscess and subcu fluids are absorbed rather slowly.
You can give her some sugar orally and it will absorb more quickly, you can do this by rubbing some syrup on her gums, if she is still unresponsive put only enough to cover the small surface area, NOT enough to make her swallow.
Make sure you keep her warm a heating pad covered with a towel should suffice.
If you have a digital thermometer you can moniter her, normal is 101-102. Keeping her warm will be key.
