    Missed Period
    Hello,

I get my period every month between the 20th and 30th. But last month I did not get it. Just about 30 minutes ago, I started bleeding. I wanted to know what should I do, because this was the first time that I missed my period.

    Can you help,
    Kierra

How old are you? Its needed to put the right answer into perspective.

In a general sense... you got it... therefore you likely aren't pregnant. So three is nothing to do... beyond what is customary during your period.

Occaisonal irregularity is common.. if it becomes frequent... see your gynecologist.

That shows you aren't pregnant if its been four months and you've had several periods since.

The fact is periods can be delayed for any number of reasons... medical as well as mental.

Simply worrying about getting pregnant is enough to make it late.. by as much as several weeks. Once in a while a woman might even miss a whole month... but like I said... if it's a one time thing... don't sweat it... if it starts happening frequently... you need to see your gynecologist so they can check you out and find out if anything is wrong. Better safe than sorry.

I don't know of any women who were as regular as the sun rising. Nearly all have been late more than once... and quite a few might have even missed a period... though I can't quote statistics. Some women can be very irregular... for a number of reasons.
