Hi there,
I have just purchased the P-SB7 spirit box,I have watched many videos on this and they don't seem to pick up the radio,mines seems to stick on radio channels,only for a split second,how do I stop this from happening,thank you

You might want to ask a moderator to move your question out of the spirituality board,

This device sweeps FM and AM radio frequencies... if you have FM or AM radio frequencies near you (and who doesn't?), it is likely to stop on them for a split second. That is how this thing is supposed to work. Then, by stopping on these frequencies quickly, you are supposed to believe that what you can piece together is a real, spirit answering you.

I have seen this used on that Ghost Adventurers show and I laugh every time they use it. It comes up with the most obscure things but they sit there and tell you what it's saying, although it usually doesn't sound like that at all. I think it's a waste of money myself.

Honestly, I'm not much on EVPs either as I think many of them are bogus as well... but that's just me.

I consider EVPs 100x better than orbs and mists in photographs... however, at least on TV, I think we're led to believe they say things other than what they really do.

Its still not something I would play with.

Thank you all for your answers and your opinions,but I do believe in the spirit box,and everyone to there own,I know a lot of people out there don't believe in them,but I have had some amazing things said and loved ones coming through and can recognize their voice a mile away,but thank you all again for your answers xx

Ha... we didn't say we don't believe in them. Just don't take everything at face value... whether it be how exactly a spirit box works or what is actually said through it.
