To Whom It May Concern,

It is to my understanding that Georgia Child Support Law obligation states that the child has to turn 18 years of age and after completion of High School before payments end.

My child completed High School in May 2013 and turned 18 years of age 03 November 2012. The Emancipation date was 06-14-13 so 2 additional payment was deducted from my payroll and sent to the parent for the month of June.

My question is; was the payroll money wrongfully deducted?

It would appear so. Have you notified the agency which authorized the direct payment?
