OK so I had recently lost my virginity and I found some blood on my under ware when I got home that night.. the next day I got my period and I wanted to know if its normal to get your period after losing your virginity. Also another thing I would like to know is. I didn't bleed throughout the sex but I felt a sharp pain and I wanted to know if my hymen ripped or if my cherry popped. Is there something wrong with me if I didn't bleed?

Your hymen IS your 'cherry.' It might have torn years ago, just being active/athletic, not even from putting anything in your vagina. No one can tell if a girl has had intercourse or not.
I wouldn't say it's common to get your period when you first have sex, but there's nothing abnormal about it. All through my younger years I often felt that sex brought on my period if it was a day or two overdue, or brought it on a day or two early if it wasn't. I could be wrong, but it makes sense if your cervix is just sort of plugged a little and the exercise in your vagina shakes it loose.

Please do a lot of reading about sex, disease, birth control, and pregnancy. You can get over a broken heart, and you can cure most disease (except herpes), but pregnancy is a baby is a human for life. And birth control is never 100%.

I would most definitely not have sex again until I learned something about my own body.

Not all women bleed when they lose their virginity, that's a common misconception, especially in countries where virginity is a must at marriage. Many men in those cultures believe that a woman isn't a virgin unless she bleeds the first time. That's not true at all.

Can a doctor tell if you've had sex? Well, a doctor can tell if your hymen is still intact, but a hymen can be torn without sex, some women are born without a hymen. So, yes, a doctor can tell if your hymen is still intact, but he/she cannot say with certainty that a torn hymen is due to sexual activity.

Now, if you get pregnant, everyone will know that you had sex. No form of birth control is 100%, did you know that? So, even if you used the pill, a condom, and another form of birth control, you can still get pregnant. Any time you have sex, pregnancy is possible.
