    Revoke settlement deed
My father made a settlement deed of his house which is a self earned property to his grand daughter(who was a 2 year old baby in 2003). My mother is the guardian of the minor. Now the minor is 11 years old. My father wants to cancel this settlement deed since it was made only to avoid loans from being raised on the house. I almost harassed my father to do this transfer to the minor since I was tired of paying off his loans. Now my father and mother(whoc is the guardian of minor) wants to cancel this deed. Since both co-operate is it possi ble to cancel it? If so can it be done just by registering the cancellation at the registrar office or does the court need to be involved?

A settlement deed is used generally to convey property from one co-owner to another, not to third party. But assuming the transfer was legal, then you can't cancel the deed. However, the guardian of the minor can agree to transfer the property back.
