    EtG clearence for 8 drinks
I think I will fail my urine test I took today. I'm a male, 25 years old, fast metabolism, relatively heavy drinker, about 155 pounds. I had about 8 drinks over the course of 6 hours, and gave a urine sample about 38 hours after I stopped drinking. I am in ADS and I'm assuming they will perform the EtG test, is there any chance I will pass or that they will not do the EtG test? I live in VA.

Every time I see this ? I wonder why everybody doesn't just stop their habit to pass the test rather than after the fact trying to beat it.

I take it you're not much of a drinker and have never been on probation. Being on probation makes me want to drink more than anything else in my life.

What do you chance to lose if you fail? Is this for a job?

38 hours is cutting too close for a negative test.

What is "ADS?" This is a global site, so not all abbreviations mean the same thing in all locations.

I feel for you but I think I'd be scared of failing the test and facing the consequences

Considering that the OP has already taken the test, all he can do is wait and pray that he passed. Chances are slim that he did though.

ADS is an alcohol/drug class for probation.

There is almost no chance you will pass,

I will say this as the addiction, a few months in jail, may help clear your problem. You are not scared enough to stop yet, do not take it serous enough to stop yet.
You can stop if you want to, but you will have to want to.

And before you say I was not a drinker, I was, started the day off with a mixed drink, added two or three by lunch, and a couple beers at lunch ( with boss) I woke up one day and never drant another drink. So it is all a matter of how much you want it.
