Child sometimes says he does not to go to spend time with non custodial parent
How old is the child? As long as the airlines allow it, which I believe is somewhere around 15 and there is no court order that stops it. And why hasn't there been a court order? Have you just been working visitation out outside of court?
At 18. A child cannot decide whether they want to visit the NCP or not. This is up to a court to decide whether there should be visitation or not. If the NCP wants the child to visit, the NCP needs to go to court for a visitation order. The court may listen to the child's preference but its up to the court to make a decision.
I took them to mean the child decided he does not want to go to Texas, but the parent wants to know if the child can decide that since they said -he does not to go to
