Amana air conditioning unit (Central Florida) that run almost 100% of the time. The fan compressor motor started making noise & not spinning so I replace the fan motor + the two capacitors (with same rated components yesterday.) When I turned the breakers back on the inside thermostat (standard, non-programmable) read 74 degress... it wasn't 74 degrees. After several minutes it rose to something higher that "felt" closer to what the house actually is. The air handler & (compressor) fan motor ran all night but temperature in house never really changed. The exhaust air from the compressor wasn't any warmer than ambient air.
Is there a relay of contact I can test?
Sorry, the only model number I can come up with relates to the Heat Pump (VHC60C2A).

Since you replaced the capacitors, I suggest you double check the wiring to them. From what you are saying, it seems like the compressor is not running.
