He could be shy or have an 'embarrassing to him' defect of some sort. Many guys are not into kissing once the initial romance is over. The never talking is what you need to find a way to fix.

You need to be concerned about all of it. A wife should be able to see and touch her husband and the kissing and talking should not die either. Has he always been this way?

He may have an easily curable medical problem.
He may have an embarrassing sexually transmitted disease...
