Hampton bay ceiling light bulbs wattage increase
We have a Hampton Bay fan with lights in the ceiling over our kitchen table. With the lights on, it is still too dark to read, write, or feel comfortable. We put a regular table light on the table to see.

What are our options for putting brighter light bulbs in the fan?

The model number is 122-135 from vendor 11289.

    Thanks in advance.

You should not exceed the recommended wattage of the light kit but you can switch to a brighter CFL or LED bulb which will not produce excess heat

Light kit should specify max wattage. As Smoothy said, try LED(expensive) or CFL's of higher Lumen output. Light is not determined by wattage but by lumens.
