Hi
I'm 12 and I've had this crush on this guy for about 3 years. I want to confess to him before he leaves next year. I think he might like me but I don't know. He is 13 and I just feel that I want him to know. I am friends with him and yes I know if it doesn't work out it will be akward . I just need some advice on how to say it or how to show it. I'm planing on giving him a gift for his b- day but I don't know what. I made him a crappy card last year and this is my first time feeling this way so that's why I'm all... Clueless. Sorry if I wrote too much or too little.

He is going to high school.

No, you don't "confess" you are just friends, and should just let things go the way they should. It is not like he is moving to another state

My bf's daughter just went through that last year. She told her dad she 'wanted to confess her love' last valentines day. I told her just get closer as a friend being she was 14 and he was 18 and graduating. I told her that if she does she wiIl feel awkward every time she sees him.
Her dad told her otherwise. She took her dads advise and it went nowhere.
